The questions we get most, with the fees that apply right now. If your answer is not here, message us at the bottom.
Korean pop-up goods are sold in stores only, so fans abroad cannot buy them. DUKTEM connects you with someone who is already going to that pop-up (a mate). They buy the goods at store price, we receive and check them at our Seoul hub, and we ship them to you.
Open the request board, pick the pop-up (or write it in if it is not listed), and list the goods with quantities. Choose 'ship overseas' as the way to receive. English and Japanese screens are set to overseas by default.
A mate is matched and you confirm the visit date. You pay for the goods, mate pay and the service fee. The mate buys the goods and uploads the receipt and photos. We check the items at our hub, then you pay the international logistics fee and we ship. Every step shows up on your request page.
Tickets, admission passes and anything that is a right to enter or attend an event. Physical goods only.
Goods at store price + mate pay (KRW 7,000 base, covers up to 3 items, KRW 1,000 per item after that) + limited-item pay when it applies (KRW 5,000) + an overseas service fee of 22% on (goods + mate pay), minimum KRW 2,000. The international logistics fee comes later, before shipping.
Because more work is included: basic inspection (required on every overseas order), overseas payment, refunds and dispute handling, intake and storage management, pickup at our Seoul hub, 30 days of free storage from arrival, and consolidated shipping.
The international logistics fee is set by the weight and size of the final box after consolidation, so it does not exist when you place the request. We do not collect an estimate up front — you pay it before we ship. Everything else is paid once, when you request.
We send the payment details to the contact you verified (email if you have no Korean phone number), together with the amount broken down into goods, mate pay and fees. All amounts are in Korean won (KRW).
The amount you approve for the goods does not change. If something could not be bought, we refund that part. The only separate amount is the international logistics fee, and you see it before you pay it.
All amounts are in KRW. What lands on your statement in your own currency depends on your card or payment provider's exchange rate and any foreign transaction fee, so we do not print a converted figure that would differ from the real charge.

Japan, Indonesia, and the US have automatic rates based on Korea Post K-Packet shipping plus a packing and handling fee per box. For other countries, we currently provide individual quotes and will let you know the total before you pay.
We close logistics payments on Wednesday at 18:00 Korea time and dispatch on Friday. A payment after the cutoff goes out the following week.
Yes — that is what consolidation means, and it is why one box costs one shipping fee. Storage is free for 30 days from arrival. After that it is KRW 3,000 per storage unit per 30 days, up to 180 days.
No. The logistics fee does not include duties, import consumption tax or local customs handling charges. If they apply, the recipient pays them directly to the carrier or customs.
Yes. Pick up at our Seoul hub instead of shipping — that is included in the service fee, and free storage applies the same way.
Yes, a basic check on every overseas order: that what arrived roughly matches what you ordered, the quantity, clear outward damage or staining, and a visual look at what is in the package.
Whether an item is authentic, fine defects, whether a device works, and anything inside a sealed package. We cannot verify those at a hub, so we do not promise them.
Mark the request as received and report it within 24 hours with photos, on the same request page. For damage, wrong items or missing items we cover up to KRW 30,000 of the goods value.
Then there is nothing to pay. If you already paid, you get all of it back.
Sold out before anyone goes: full refund. The mate went but could buy nothing: we keep the visit pay only and refund the goods, extra pay and fees — and if there is no proof of the visit, we refund everything. Partly bought: we refund the part that was not.
Before a mate is matched, any time. After that, until the day before the visit, with no cancellation fee. From the visit day onward the mate is already on the way, so message us and we will sort it out with you.
You can verify by email instead — during sign-up, or later under My page → Verify your contact. We send every update to the address you verified.
To post a request, yes (Kakao or Google). The link we send you opens your request page without signing in, so you can always check progress from that link.
No. The mate never sees where the goods are going — the goods come to our hub first, and we ship them to you. Other users only ever see your nickname.
Not from abroad, sorry. Mate pay is income earned in Korea, so it needs a Korean phone number, a Korean bank account and a Korean resident registration number for tax withholding — and a short-stay visa does not permit paid work in Korea. That is why the overseas screens do not offer it.
